Saturday's Spec Bets

Nothing outstanding to note. Will detail a few horses that may defy their odds but I wouldn't bet betting any more than small stakes if not watching. I'm not feeling inspired today and need a rest!

6:50 Salisbury - Pass The Cristal, trained by William Muir, didn't achieve a great deal on debut at Ascot, although that looked a decent contest with the first three all fancied to go well. This bay colt is a son of Raven's Pass and it is interesting he was sent to Ascot when making his racecourse bow. Muir doesn' have many winners on their debut but they can often be transformed second start. This drop back to 6f my help and I'm intrigued to see Jamie Spencer booked to ride who has only ridden for him twice in five years.

In the same race Eolian could show more after a luckless run at Brighton. William Knight is a talented trainer and this son of Poet's Voice may have claims at 16/1.

Pass The Cristal @ 20/1 Unp

Eolian @ 16/1 Unp
