Once again we have our eye on one of the debutantes.
David Elsworth is a canny trainer and knows a decent horse when he sees it and Justice Lass could have potential. This Irish daughter of Canford Cliffs out of a twice-winning Listed-placed mare races in the familiar silks of Robert Ng. This February foal, a bay filly, was withdrawn from the sales.
It is intriguing to consider that she held an entry for one of the major two-year-old races at Royal Ascot. Perhaps that lofty tag was nothing more than pie in the sky but it could well be a sign of confidence. Considering Justice Lass is priced 16/1 with bookmakers she could well be worth an each way bet or backed with hope of being gambled to gain a no-lose bet.
Not the easiest of races to win on debut but a low draw and potential could have a fight chance.
Justice Lass 16/1 5th
Note: clearly has ability and if not for being a touch inexperience would have finished in frame
