1000 Guineas - Spec Bet From The Wizard

Well, it's not far away from the first Classics of the year. I've been chatting with the founder of High-Class Equine. He is a reclusive person similar to the Wizard of Oz. He sits behind a curtain and you see him on a TV screen. Either side balls of fire erupt to not only terrify those who stand before him looking for courage, brains or heart but to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. He talks through a mouthpiece and pushes levers and presses buttons to make to a startling vision of wonder and knowledge. Very much on the theme of L. Frank Baum's books he is a creative genius but with horse racing tips. Just like the Wizard, he has a multitude of buttons and one, in particular, finds winners for the 1000 Guineas. Well, this mysterious man has forwarded a tip.

William Knight's Robanne hs caught his eye. This daughter of Paco Boy has raced three times and won on debut. This step up to 1 mile looks ideal and at 66/1, she could well hit the frame.

I went to visit him for a winner. He gave me a betting slip - Robanne 66/1 each-way
